Education Award Program Secondary
4.3.1 Award:
A maximum of three awards of $750.
4.3.2 Description:
The Fort William First Nation Education Award program has been created as an incentive and reward for students who are graduating with a secondary school graduation diploma.
4.3.3 Eligibility:
- Member of the Fort William First Nation
- Graduation from secondary school (current academic year)
- Selection is based primarily on academic excellence. Awards will be given to the highest three grade mark averages
- Demonstrated leadership, community involvement and participation in extra-curricular activities will also be considered in the selection process
- Everyone is encouraged to apply
4.3.4 Closing Date:
Students must complete an application package by July 31st of each year.
