Education Award Program Post Secondary – Community College

4.8.1 Award:

A maximum of three awards of $400. 

4.8.2 Description:

The Fort William First Nation Education Award program has been created as an incentive and reward for students who are graduating with a diploma from a recognized community college program.

4.8.3 Eligibility:

  • Member of the Fort William First Nation
  • Full-time attendance at a recognized college
  • Graduation from diploma program (current academic year)
  • Selection is based primarily on academic excellence.  Awards will be given to the highest three grade mark averages
  • Demonstrated leadership, community involvement and participation in extra-curricular activities will also be considered in the selection process

4.8.4 Closing Date:

Students must complete an application package by July 31st of each year.
