4.10      Education Award Program Secondary – Learning Disabilities

4.10.1 Award:

A maximum of three awards of $750. 

4.10.2 Description:

The Fort William First Nation Education Award program has been created as an incentive and reward for students with learning disabilities who are graduating with a school graduation diploma or certificate of any kind.

4.10.3 Eligibility:

  • Member of the Fort William First Nation
  • Graduation from secondary or post-secondary school (current academic year)
  • Demonstrated leadership, community involvement and participation in extra-curricular activities will also be considered in the selection process
  • Everyone is encouraged to apply

4.10.4 Closing Date:

Students must complete an application package by July 31st of each year.
