Fort William First Nation is accepting self-nominations for one representative to serve a four-year term as Trustee on the Thunder Bay Catholic District School Board beginning in November 2026.

Candidates must be a Fort William First Nation Band Member, Canadian citizen, at least 18 years old, a resident within the Board’s jurisdiction, a Catholic school supporter and not an employee of the Board. The successful candidate will be expected to attend approximately two evening meetings per month from September to June, demonstrate a commitment and abiding interest in children with special needs, and maintain a good working relationship with the FWFN Education Manager.
